 Celebration of Earth Day P.G. Department of Botany celebrated Earth day on 25 th April 2022. On this day Dr. S. T. Ingle, Head of Botany, shared the importance of Earth and related issues with students. The department has organised floral decoration compitition on this day. All students from M.Sc.I and M.Sc.II actively participated in the compitition and also donated plants to Department. Dr. V. R. Dawande and Dr. L. M. Khade organised the program successfully.

 * वनस्पतीशास्ञ विभागामार्फत राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिनानिमित्त व्याख्यानाचे आजोजन* 🌻🌱🌻🌱🌻🌱🌻🌱 इचलकरंजी   - येथील डी. के. ए. एस. सी.कॉलेजमध्ये *राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिनानिमित्त* वनस्पतीशास्त्र विभाग ,सायन्स असोसिएशन व अंतर्गत गुणवत्ता हमी कक्ष यांच्यावतीने *प्रा.शेखर ए.मोहिते सर* यांचे व्याख्यान आयोजित करण्यात आले होते.  यावेळी बोलताना प्रा.शेखर मोहिते म्हणाले ,“UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site”समाविष्ट असे *कास पठार* विविधरंगी फुलांसाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. येथील जैवविविधता व पठारावर फुलणाऱ्या दुर्मीळ फुलांना टिकवायचे असेल तर कास पठाराचे संवर्धन होणे गरजेचे आहे.त्याचे सखोल शास्त्रीय संशोधन आणि डोळस संरक्षण व्हायला हवे. अध्यक्षीय भाषणात प्रभारी प्राचार्य *डॉ. व्ही.एस.ढेकळे* यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन केले,तसेच कास पठार हे फुलांसाठी एकमेव नैसर्गिक वारसा स्थळ म्हणून नामांकन प्राप्त झालेले ठिकाण आहे व त्याचे संवर्धन करणे आपणा सर्वांचे कर्त्यव्य आहे,असे सांगितले. कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक, स्वागत व पाहुण्यांचा परिचय वनस्पती शास्ञ विभागप्रमुख डॉ.एस्. टी.इंगळे यांनी करून दिल...

 चार्ल्स् डार्विन उत्क्रांतीवादाचा सिद्धांत आजच्या पिढीलाही मार्गदर्शक- प्रा. डॉ. बी. टी दांगट  इचलकरंजी दिनांक 12 फेब्रुवारी  चार्ल्स् डार्विन हे महान वैज्ञानिक भूगर्भशास्त्रज्ञ व जीवशास्त्रज्ञ असून त्यांनी 1858 साली दिलेला उत्क्रांतिवादाचा सिधान्त् जगातील आजच्या नवीन पिढीला उपयुक्त आहे असे विचार प्रा. बी. टी. दांगट विभाग प्रमुख विवेकानंद कॉलेज कोल्हापूर यांनी दत्ताजीराव कदम आर्ट्स सायन्स आणि कॉमर्स कॉलेज इचलकरंजी येथील कार्यक्रमात व्यक्त केले. ते चार्ल्स डार्विन यांच्या जयंती समारोह निमित्त आभासी पद्धतीने केलेल्या कार्यक्रमात बोलत होते. या कार्यक्रमाचे अध्यक्ष महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य प्रा. डॉ. व्ही. एस. ढेकळे सर होते. कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक व स्वागत वनस्पतीशास्त्र विभाग प्रमुख प्रा. डॉ. सुभाष इंगळे सर यांनी केले. या कार्यक्रमात दांगट पुढे म्हणाले डार्विन यांचा जन्म 12 फेब्रुवारी 1809 मध्ये झाला असून त्यांना निसर्गाबद्दल मोठे आकर्षण होते. बालपनि  सर्वसामान्य सारखें असणारै डार्विन् यानी दिलेला महान उत्क्रांतिवादाचा सिद्धांत  'सर्व्हायव्हल ऑफ द फिटेस्ट' आजही ल...

P. G. Department of Botany organized world Wet Land Day on 2 nd February 2022.  The theme of the day was Wetlands Action for People and Nature.  The session was chaired by Dr.S.T.Ingle ( H.O.D. Dept. Of Botany). Students from M.Sc.I  and M.Sc.II year actively participated by sharing their views about the theme of the day. Miss. Shubhangi Kurade, Miss. Tanmaya Kumbhar and miss Shruti Khot were the student speakers. They explained the importance of wetlands and it's conservation. Dr.S.T.Ingle and Dr. S.N.Dhumal shared their thoughts and provided guidance to students. Dr. V.R.Dawande and Dr. L.M Khade also contributed their knowledge and guided students. Vote of thanks were delivered by Dr.L.M.Khade. All faculty members and students from P.G.Dept.Of Botany were attended the function.

 ' Celebration of World Soil Day' 5 December 2021   Today  P.G. Department of Botany Celebrated World Soil Day. M.Sc I and M.Sc. II year students organized poster exhibition for creating awareness. On this occasion Hon. Principal Dr. V. S.Dhekale sir   enougurated poster exhibition and guided to students. Head of the Botany Department Dr. S.T.Ingle sir Awared to students about importance of World Soil Day. Maj. Virkar also present for this function.All faculty members were present for this function.
