P.G. Dept. Of Botany celebrated Van Mahotsav 2021-1st july to 7th july

 P.G. Dept. Of Botany celebrated Van Mahotsav 2021,from 1st July to 7th July 2021.

The Inaugural function was chaired by Dr. S.T. Ingle sir, in presence of Dr. V.A.Patil (Head of the Dept, Dept. Of Botany). On this day Dr. S.N. Dhumal   delivered a lecture on Kitchen Gardening. On 2nd July students from M.Sc.I and M.Sc.II, presented different forest types from India. Essay competition was arranged on 3rd July on various topics related to Van mahotsav. On 4th July guest lecture of Dr.B. T.Dangat sir was organized. He gave nice information about biodiversity and its conservation. Miss Shubhangi Kurade fron M.Sc. I demonstrated the preparation of Seed ball on 5th July. Dr. L.M.Khade explained the importance of indoor plants.

Guest lecture of Dr. U. R. Pawar on Mangrove,its importance and conservation was arranged on 6th July. Also Dr. Dhanashri Patil explained the importance of gardening for health, wealth and happiness. On concluding day, the function was chaired by Dr.S. T.Ingale sir, in presence of Dr. V. S.Dhekale (Principal, D.K. A.S.C.College ICHALKARANJI). Students expressed their views on Van Mahotsav. The Van mahotsav was concluded with remark that the activities should go all over the year.
